The introduction to the work of the Camden Redevelopment Agency and the City of
Camden Department of Development and Planning is a particular source of pride to us. This site shows how municipal agencies are working together, for the first time in many years, to produce new economic benefits for our city and its neighborhoods. Through the activities of these two agencies during the coming year, we will be pursuing the best opportunities to stabilize and strengthen economic conditions in Camden's neighborhoods and to position our communities for success in the 21st century economy. Our approach is based on two key principles:

One city, one vision. City agencies work collaboratively with one another and with business, institutional, and nonprofit partners to produce the best results.

A plan for every neighborhood. Although Camden's neighborhoods have a variety of different development-related needs and opportunities, a city-wide approach to development is critical, and every neighborhood will be included in the City's plans for stabilization, improvement, and growth.

We look forward to working with the staff of the Camden Redevelopment Agency, the City of Camden Department of Development and Planning, development partners, and the citizens of Camden to bring new value to the city and its neighborhoods during the coming years.
